Rail-Ability Rail-Man Access Platform
The standard base vehicle is a Rail-Ability hybrid MAN TGM 4×4 18.290 rigid body truck equipped with a 3 person cab and is fitted with a pair of Rail-Ability designed, constructed and hydrostatically driven and braked rail axles. MEWP capacity: 500 kgs to 14 metres. Also includes crane and winch. Fitted with pantograph.
- MEWP features include raised platform deck height approx. 13m
- Stowed platform deck height approx. 2.5m, platform can be lowered to the ground
- Deck height approx. 2m
- Platform deck size is 1.2m wide x 2.2m long
- Maximum platform load capacity in road mode and in rail mode is 500kgs
- Platform capacity up to 5 people plus tools
- 300⁰ platform rotate
- With a platform load of 500kgs the horizontal extension is 4.5m and vertical extension of 14m with the stabilisers retracted
- With the stabilisers deployed the horizontal extension is 10m
